This summer collection was created in collaboration with the young Italian brand Olivia. The inspiration was the measured southern Dolce Vita and the atmosphere of Bari – the hometown of Olivia designers. Sunlit and caressed by the Adriatic Sea, the region sets trends – designers preferred linen, viscose and cotton, mainly pastel shades and free silhouettes. frizman and Olivia in every thing embodied the popular movement «slow living» – the art of living slowly with pleasure. The Summer 2020 collection encourages us to notice the beautiful in simple things, exchange chaos for relaxation and do not forget to enjoy the sunset every day.
The collection revolves around the rustic style – a kind of provincial chic, which is characteristic of the south of Italy. The use of natural fabric with minimal processing, oversize silhouettes, prints in the form of a small strip and large patch pockets – all these are rustic elements that symbolize a resort wardrobe and are often played out in cruise collections.
The focus is on pantsuits. However, it’s not a restrained classic inherent in the frizman style, but relaxed models of wide culottes, kimono-blouses, Bermudas and light blazers. It is in such clothes that it is comfortable to read a book in the shade of a lemon tree, and to wait for a vacation in a red-hot metropolis.
The color scheme of the collection is presented in natural shades that harmoniously fit into the atmosphere of Bari – beige, olive, khaki, ecru. Also, designers involved trendy shades of blue and sand, symbolizing the love of the sea.
frizman remains true to its philosophy, which encourages investing in sustainable trends and abandoning fast-fashion in order to preserve the environment. Each element of frizman clothing is not only universal and practical, but also able to please for many years with impeccable quality.
